MOTAC Strategises for 2017

Directors of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture have met to strategise on a collective plan to achieve the sectors targets for 2017 and beyond.

Opening the one-day retreat dubbed MoTAC “Team Building” Programme, which had all Directors and Heads of Agencies of the Ministry, Hon. Catherine Afeku, Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, charged them to see themselves as an integral part of the true development of Ghana by working assiduously to achieve the set goals.

“You must see yourselves as the vehicles for the change we all hope to see and continue to work as the professionals that you are” she said.

Mrs. Afeku, assured them of her readiness to lead the path in getting all the needed resources to make the ministry and its agencies deliver on their mandates.

She implored the directors and agency heads not to hesitate in coming forth to share with her any suggestion that will move the sector forward for the benefit of all.

“Let’s work hard and make an impact in the life of industrial practitioners and move the sector forward” she added.

Nana Oduro- Kwateng, Chief Director of the Ministry and moderator for the retreat, assured the minister of their (management) readiness to give out their best in putting the sector on the pedestal it deserves thus getting the needed recognition it so much deserves.
